A one-dog walking arrangement built around familiar local routes.
We discuss your dog’s normal walk, lead equipment, responses to other animals and any areas you prefer to avoid. An individual format allows the route and pace to stay focused on one dog’s needs. Walks remain on lead unless a separate, suitable arrangement has been explicitly assessed and agreed.
Length, access and handover arrangements are confirmed for the particular booking. A walk is not a behavioural treatment or a substitute for veterinary advice. If a dog appears unwell or the conditions are unsuitable, the agreed contingency plan takes priority over completing a route for its own sake.

A familiarisation walk

A first meeting gives space to understand how the dog responds to a new person and the equipment it already knows. We review the normal cues, door routine and any handling boundaries. Owners should share relevant bite history, escape behaviour and health limitations before the meeting.
This is an introduction to the proposed walking arrangement, not a formal temperament assessment or training programme. Some dogs need a different support setting. We agree whether the service is suitable and what information must be in place before any independent walk is scheduled.

Regular walking arrangements

A regular booking works best when small details stay clear: collection times, the equipment’s storage place, permission to enter and how updates are shared. We record the agreed routine and the contact to use if circumstances change. Access information is handled separately from general enquiry messages.
Australian conditions can change the appropriate walking plan. Heat, smoke, storms and hot surfaces may call for a shorter or different outing, or a cancellation under the agreed terms. We discuss these decisions before the first recurring booking so the dog’s comfort guides the day.
